02 — Why Tideglass

What a structured advisory brings to a change programme

Structured readiness thinking

Before the change starts, we help leadership teams surface the questions they haven't yet asked. A short structured conversation often saves weeks of misalignment later.

Written outputs, not just conversation

We produce short, usable documents — readiness notes, communication frameworks, milestone briefs — that your team can refer back to as the programme moves forward.

Your team stays in control

We are an external sounding board. All execution, all decisions, all relationships with your staff remain with you. We work alongside, not over.

Familiar with Malaysian business context

Our work is shaped around how owner-led firms and SMEs in Malaysia actually operate — the ownership dynamics, the internal communication patterns, the pace of decision-making.

Clear internal messaging

Communication that reaches the right people at the right time reduces the anxiety that typically surrounds organisational change. We help you plan what to say, to whom, and when.

Predictable cadence over time

For longer programmes, a consistent fortnightly rhythm keeps the advisory relationship from drifting. Regular notes create a record you can use to brief new stakeholders as they join.

03 — Start a Conversation

A change is coming. Where does your team stand?

Most change programmes falter not because of the change itself, but because the groundwork was skipped. A readiness conversation costs very little and clarifies a great deal.

04 — Questions

Frequently asked questions

What kinds of change does Tideglass typically support?
We work with structural organisational changes — a new core system being rolled out, a business moving to a new location, a reorganisation of reporting lines or teams. We are not a technology implementation partner; we focus on the human and communication dimensions of those changes.
How long does the Change Readiness Note engagement take?
Typically one to two weeks from the initial leadership conversation to delivery of the written note. We work around your schedule. The note itself is concise — usually four to six pages — written to be read and used, not filed away.
Is the communication framework only for large companies?
No. We designed it specifically for Malaysian SMEs where there is no dedicated communications function. A company with 30 to 150 staff introducing a new HR system, for example, benefits just as much from a clear messaging plan as a larger organisation — perhaps more, because informal channels carry more weight.
What does the Programme Steward Retainer involve day-to-day?
You have a fortnightly call with your Tideglass adviser — usually 45 to 60 minutes. We send a brief written note after each call. Around milestone moments, you can reach out in between scheduled calls for ad-hoc support. We keep the conversation honest and forward-facing without adding to your programme's overhead.
Do you work with clients outside Kuala Lumpur?
Yes. Most of our engagement is conducted via video call, so we work with Malaysian companies across the peninsula and East Malaysia. When a face-to-face workshop is part of the engagement, we discuss travel arrangements separately.
How do we get started?
Send us a brief note through the contact form below, or call us directly. We will arrange a short introductory call — no charge, no commitment — to understand where you are and whether Tideglass is a good fit for what you need.
